NEWSLETTER – JULY 2018

Wednesday, 1 August, 2018

As we approach the end of another busy term I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the support you have given, both to your child and to the school. We remain committed to providing “Qualitative education in a world-class environment driven by contemporary technology for global competitiveness”.

EARLY CLOSURE
The Ministry of Education, Sport, Arts and Culture has announced a new closure date for the 2nd term, THURSDAY 26 JULY, instead of Thursday 9 August. This means school will be closing 2 weeks earlier than anticipated.
The new date for the start of Term 3 is now TUESDAY 4 SEPTEMBER i.e. one week earlier. The end date for the 3rd term remains THURSDAY 6 DECEMBER

CAR PARK
Please drive responsibly in the car park. Be considerate of others. Do not double park, or park in others. Do not leave any valuables in your car, as the school will not be held responsible for any loss of property. We also ask you to show respect to the security guards who are only doing their jobs - safe guarding our children and the school.

NO CHILDREN ARE TO WALK THROUGH THE STAFF CAR PARK AT ANY TIME. PLEASE ENSURE THEY USE THE PATHS

TERM’S NOTICE
Remember that the school requires one full term’s notice of withdrawal in writing to the Head, as per your enrolment contract. Should the requisite notice not be given, the parent(s)/guardian will be liable to pay one term’s fee in lieu of notice. You may give the school provisional notice until the move is confirmed, to avoid being penalized.

I wish you all a restful holiday and, if you are travelling, a safe journey.
