Circular 1 T3 2025
Dear Parents and Guardians
Welcome to term 3 and I trust that school has started well for you and your children. Once again it promises to be a busy term with sports, plays, exams and prize-giving just to mention a few events ! The spotlight will be put on major events nearer the times of their happenings.
Thrift Shop and Lost Property
Please see a letter from Mrs Anderson who runs our Thrift Shop which also incorporates Lost Property. We are totally inundated with unclaimed items of every description and drastic action is needed.
School Calendar
You will have this by now plus the afternoon activities lists so please keep them in a prominent place where you can easily see what is going on and when. You can see at a glance that life is once again going to be very busy this term.
Twin Rivers Uniform Shop
We are pleased to inform you all that Enbee has taken over the running of our uniform shop and we look forward to a fruitful relationship with them going forwards. Our considerable thanks go to Mr Ghodiwala and Mrs Bhaviksha Patel for doing such a great job of running it over the years. Please note the new opening times attached.
Addition to last Term’s Final Circular
As you will have noticed, I try to highlight the achievements of as many of our children as possible but along with that is the risk of inadvertently leaving someone out ! Well I did just that. I have pleasure in saying that Hannah Chihota was an important member of our 1st team (unbeaten) hockey and I accidently left her name off the list of those who made the Harare A hockey squad. Well done, Hannah.
Projects Around the School
We are so nearly at the end of all the works around the school and I thank you all for your understanding of the necessity for the ditches and earthworks around the school. The result will be a very efficient water reticulation system throughout the school. You will also see that all the piles of rubble and soil that had accumulated at the edges of our fields have been removed. We thank ICON for all their hard work.
General
There is much to look forward to this term and we will be in touch again in the coming weeks but for now I wish you and your children all the best for the final stretch of 2025.
Kind regards
M. N. MACKENZIE
