Dear Parents
Welcome back. I hope that you all had a restful holiday. We would like to welcome all new parents and students to the Twin Rivers family.

TERM’S NOTICE
As per your enrolment contract, we require one full term’s notice of withdrawal in writing to the Headmistress, in the event of a child being withdrawn from the school. If the requisite notice has not been given, the parent(s) / guardian(s) will be liable to pay one term’s fee in lieu of notice. You may give the school provisional notice before your move is confirmed, to avoid being penalized.

ARRIVAL AND COLLECTION
It is important that all children are at school on time in the morning. The bell rings at 7.45am and therefore they should arrive at school no later than 7.40am.
I am going to be very strict regarding latecomers. The gate will be closed at 7.45am. Any children arriving after this time will have to be accompanied by a parent to the office or their classroom.
All Grade 1s and 2s are to be collected at 12.30pm or 1pm at the very latest, from the verandah on the south side of the Hall. Grade 1 and 2 pupils will NOT be allowed to stay and wait for an older sibling to finish sport.
If you organize for someone else to fetch your child, please send written authorization or call the office to inform us of who is collecting your child. If your child is walking home they will require a gate pass from the office.
No parent is to drive their car on the field to collect their child when it is raining.

CAR PARK
When parking in the car park please be considerate of others. Please do not double park or park-in others. Parents, please do not leave your valuables in your car. The school will not be responsible for any loss of property.

STAFF CAR PARK
When collecting or taking your child to the classroom please do not walk through the Staff Car Park. Either walk on the paths or the field. ALL Grades 3 to 7 children are to be collected from under the trees on the field near the swimming pool area.No parents are to wait in the Quad or in front of the Grade 4 classrooms.
NO CHILDREN ARE TO WALK THROUGH THE STAFF CAR PARK AT ANY TIME. PLEASE USE THE PATHS.

Your printed copy of afternoon activities has two pages, one for before half term, the other for after half term. Parents are to sit in the designated areas during afternoon activities.
